More than twenty years ago Sara stepped off a plane in Haiti for the first time. From that day on, she’s been passionate about alleviating suffering and uplifting the marginalized. Sara has been on over 35 short-term mission trips to Haiti and also to Vietnam. In the US, she spent more than two decades ministering to college students in Missouri, California, and Oklahoma, with a primary focus on connecting with international students.

Sara is now the executive administrator and programs coordinator for Hope Beyond Borders. Using her decades of experience in organization and leadership, she handles planning and oversees numerous projects for Hope Beyond Borders and our partners.
